When it c9mes to lightning protection, I'd think you want the least "BANG!" For your buck.

I buy polyphasor units, they look extly like the dawn co ones i bet polyphasor is the oem for dawn.

While i cant confirm tht it was lightning, sine im not out at the sites when they go bad, i ant sy for sure. But I can say tha i definitely havea huge stack of dead abr's mostly due to bad front ends, and some have exploded ic and such in them. And ive had a lot less die on mesince properly onstalling the polyphasors. Most sites dodnt have them, a few had poorly grounded units, and even fewer had properly instlled units.

Just curious: Have you [or anybody] ever had the front end of a satellite receiver blow up from lightning? Under what circumstances?

Hi Guys:

Other than Dawnco, where do you buy your in-line surge protectors for satellite receivers?  I'm looking for a little box with (female) F connectors on each end.

Like everyone else on this list, I'm looking for "the most bang for the buck."

Thanks!
Steve
