Transfer the number to google voice (free) google then can ring all the numbers you want. Emails you your voice mail messages in text form.

Get one of those Bluetooth to pots gadgets to make your cell phone ring all the phones in your house.

I have wired or wireless phones all over my house and I dropped my ATT landline last year, switched to Spectrum (formerly Time Warner Cable) which has worked well, and now my cheap year $9.99/month with them is about up.  I'd like to keep and transfer my number to a provider that would ALSO ring my cell phone; it would have to have good robo-call blocking.  If it's a landline call being forwarded to my cell phone, I'd like to know that, too.

I still have, though unused in a long while, both a MagicJack Plus and Google Voice account.  I've read that GV doesn't do 911, but I think it can ring several types of phone lines.  Not sure if MagicJack handles 911 or can ring other lines.  I do have MJ's little box that plugs into my UPS and the internet.

I'm willing to purchase an Ooma or other interface, but whatever I get would be nice if it's really cheap after that.
