It can be done, but it needs someone to mix the service specifically for radio, and someone to do commentary when there might otherwise be silence. So when
the choir is getting assembled in the choir loft, the church announcer would tell the audience what’s happening, what the musical number and composer is, the name of the choir director and any soloists that might be performing.
