I HAVE ALWAYS USED THE JK AUDIO INNKEEPER PBX. ABOUT $450. WORKS GREAT, INSTALLS IN BETWEEN PHONE BASE AND HANDSET.
Sorry about the caps…..

Subject: [CRTech] Office Phone Interface
Is there a easy-peasy way to interface a standard office phone system into a mixer board for recording phone calls? I’m thinking some magic widget from JK Audio or the like? A podcaster I've been put into contact with, would like to add remote host/guest functionality via their existing office phone.
The phone is a Toshiba, Model DP5022-SD. They say the phone lines are "coming in on a T1", but that's all the info I have. I've attached a picture of the phone handset. Hopefully it comes through.
