I thought uplinks increased power during uplink fades ?

C-band uplinks are not affected by weather like the Ku-band.  Rain can
affect the C-band by only a few tenths of a dB.  Unlike the Ku-band where 20
dB fades are not uncommon.

Curious where the ambos uplink is located in North Carolina. Our EbNo just
dipped to yellow and alarmed me. I suspect it's weather at the uplink.
