Hello, Roger.

I actually have that same laptop upgraded to Win98 with larger drive, full RAM and an ethernet card. I just booted it up for fun and it is running fine. That's not bad for sitting in the closet without being tested for more than a decade.

If yours does not boot to the hard disk drive then contact me privately.

Thanks for the tips. I will check on those things. I was able to find a copy of Win95. The computer is an old Del Inspiron 7000.  It will be interesting to see if it works.
