Thread-topic: [CRTech] Cellphones on air flight

I just asked my commercial pilot friend who has been flying an Airbus for American for many years about cellphone interference, and he categorically denies that it’s a problem. He says they have to tell passengers to turn off their phones because the FAA tells them to do that.

the other accident was a commuter airline, professional, qualified pilots, making an ILS approach to land, but with a cellphone interfering with their readings and the ground appeared where it was not supposed to be.

Still unable to find any report on this incident. Can you provide a specific date or reference to any official report of this crash? Any NTSB or any other agency report that specifically identifies cellphone use as the cause? If it actually happened, surely there is some kind of documentation somewhere.
