I've never measured the frequency response, but have heard of people passing composite through them when they had ground loop hum/noise. Apparently didn't hurt the stereo separation much, if at all.

I've never heard any discussion of the insulation in those coils, but expect it is pretty good/high as they were usually on each end of lines that may have been several miles long.

Just curious, Lyle,
do you know what the top rolloff frequency is on the 111C? Also insulation
rating between primaries & secondaries?

Will mention here that I still have several 111C coils left. $100 each,
post paid.

If you have any of the old "Repeat Coils" [like 111C] they're a marvelous
audio transformer & worth some bucks. I did a remote from another building
& used 111Cs on each end for ground isolation. Those transformers are
essentially flat from about 10 Hz to at least 100Khz.

Does anyone know of someone who is buying old telephone "key systems" such
as the 1A2 systems?

Thanks
