In my opinion using a BT tools to switch headphones is way over-kill.  If it is only two computers, a simple DPDT switch should do just fine.  If you have more, get a rotary switch with as many positions that you need.

As for software, it is to switch headphone feeds between different computers, so it would be less confusing to have a hardware control.
