Starting putting in the WindTech PopGard 2000's with our condensers. Very effective and has a small footprint.

The mic technique is there, but once in a while a good poof of air comes out and hits the mic.

I'll look into the hoops.

I’d suggest those ones that look like little hoops with nylon fabric stretched over it.  It could also be poor mic technique.  They should be aimed at the announcers’ lips but 30-45 degrees off axis.

I'm using two AKG 414's in a talk studio and I've got a problem with plosives. I've got your typical foam windscreens on them...the kind that fit an RE20...but that's not doing the job.

Does anyone have a particular pop filter that works best for killing the pops on side-address condensers?
