Seven people were injured after lightning struck a car in a parking lot
near Raymond James Stadium following Sunday's Tampa Bay Buccaneers game,
None of the injuries appeared to be serious, Tampa Fire Rescue spokesman
Jason Penny said. The strike kicked up rocks and gravel and knocked a few
people down when it hit around 4 p.m.
Bruce Kudick, of Sarasota, said the lightning appeared to hit the top of a
car and "shattered the top" of it.
Tampa Fire Rescue officials said seven people were transported to St.
